We hope you had a scrapbook-perfect Christmas or Hanukah with all of the people that you love. And those special moments captured on film or digital, to create those pages or books that will keep the memories alive forever.   We are very PLEASED to announce the first classes here at Scrappin’ Attack and look forward to more class ideas from all of you. We will certainly make every effort to reach scrappers and stampers with our class selections.  If you are familiar with a teacher that you would enjoy taking a class with please send us contact information and will we research the feasibility of having classes with that teacher. Class descriptions are below.   As we approach the New Year we look forward to building our product lines and will be attending CHA at the end of January to see/buy new products and learn new techniques available.  We can’t wait to “go play” in the Big scrapbook playground that the CHA convention will be….  Please note the store hours for that time will be adjusted as we both will be attending the convention. See calendar for more information.                                                   CLASS DESCRIPTION:                                     Love is in the air and it’s COSMIC     Are your stars aligned, feeling love Dovey, been struck by Cupid?  Well then you need to com play with Cosmo Crickets new line of paper “chemistry”.  In this class you will see the new stamps from The Rubber Cafe.  You will make four cards and a gift cardholder.. These are not your standard A2 cards.  Its 2009 dare to be different. Supplies: Basic kit (scissor/adhesive) and watercolor pencils.   Instructor: Melissa Sampaga Cost:          $25.00 Date:          Friday – January 16th Time:          6:30 – 8:30 pm     LOVE is the Word !!!   Make your special “love” this Bo-Bunny Love word book. Happy Holidays !!                                       from Scrappin Attack       With a little less than a week until Christmas and Chanukah, it seems like there is a so much yet to do.   Between shopping, cleaning, baking and wrapping, the extra tasks in December seem a little overwhelming.     But in a few days all the anticipation and excitement will come together when all those special family events and traditions are once again experienced and shared and all the time spent is well rewarded with the love and warmth of family.  May all those special memories be “caught” on film (or digital) to create those special scrapbook pages that allow you to remember Christmas 2008.   Scrappin’ Attack wants to help you with any last minute shopping for your “scrappin’ pal” or yourself.  Send the special guy in your life in and we will help him select items you may want – or a gift certificate for later use.   This week we have gotten in more new products the list follows so take a few minutes to stop in the store and “relax” from that last minute shopping and take a look.   The January calendar will be out next week with our first classes scheduled!!!  Yeah!! we are very excited and look forward to finalizing the dates and time in the next few days and sending the calendar out.   Whats new this week:  Hero Art Stamps for 2009 and the catalog!!. Happy Thanksgiving!!!     Eva and I would like to wish you and your family a wonderful holiday.  We will be sharing the day with our families as well so we do have holiday hours:  Wednesday we will be closing at 2pm and we will be closed on Thanksgiving.  Regular business hours resume Friday.    I would like to thank everyone for all of your great suggestions on product.  I am trying to research all of them and get ordering.  We will always accept your input so please continue to give us feedback.   The December calendar will be on the website this afternoon.  We do have crops on Friday and Saturday the 5th and 6th as well as 12th and 13th.  Remember to call ahead and pre pay for your spot!   New Product: I did get some of the requested items in the store.  I have new softball paper and stickers.  A very cute state paper for your travels. Think pink- Brest cancer paper for the 3 day walkers. Thank you!!  Thank you!! Thank you!!   To all the customers who made our Grand Opening and Preview week a lot of FUN and such a success.  We have thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone and appreciate all the compliments about the remodeled store.  Lunches from two local restaurants HUNGRY HOWIES and El Ranchito were served to a 100 plus customers and we thank both restaurants for there support and hope everyone enjoyed the lunches.   We hope to have all store projects completed in the next few weeks.  And orders for new products will begin this week!!!  Thank you all for the suggestions of products and lines for us to look into carrying in the store.  If you have any special lines/products let Stacie know so we can expand out product lines and inventory.   SCRAPPIN ATTACK CROP!!!!     The Christenings  of our SCAPPIN’ ATTACK CROP  is this week-end with crops on Friday November 21st and Saturday November 22nd  the hours for THESE crops will be from 4:00pm to 12:00 (with the regular crop hours being 6pm to 12:00). Both these crops will include a special “dinner treat” at 6:30 pm along with beverages for the evening.  We are very excited and hope to have a “Full House” in our new Crop Space.  Some of the Store Tools available will be Cricket Expression with a lot of different fonts, Quikutz and lots of die cuts, AccuCut machine…    Call the store to sign up, as we have some remaining spaces for both Crops.   See below for SCRAPPIN’ ATTACK Crops policies:                 v      Scrappin’ Attack Crop fees are $10.00 per person   v     Pre-registration/payment is required (may be done in store or via phone on a credit card)     v     All cancellations must be made 3 days before the crop – your special place was reserved and we need time to fill the spot.   v     All refunds are in the form of store credit     v     If you do not show up or cancel in time you will not receive your refund via store credit.   v     Scrappin’ Attack Crop hours are 6:00 pm to Midnight and may be Friday or Saturday Nights – please check monthly calendar which is now on the website and available in the store.     v     Daily Scrappin’ Attack Crops are daily from 11am-6pm at $1.00 per hour.  Fee will be waived if $15.00 in pretax merchandise is purchased during your crop time.  Please call to insure there is space available.  (the hours will be 11am-4pm if there is a class that evening to allow time for class prep). Store update..... Well we have done a lot of work on the store. We did a little painting and remodeling to create a new cool look for Scrappin' Attack! We now have a great cropping area and Coming soon new classes. We also have a date for our Grand Re-Opening. It will be the week of November 9th thru 15th. I hope you come by and take a look at the new store as well as all the great new product we have.
