Well Christmas is fast approaching as is the New Year !! 2010 is on it’s way !! January is “cricut‘ month at scrappin attack GOT CRICUT – did you purchase the BEST personal cutting machine on the market on Black Friday ??? Is Santa bringing you one in his sack !!! If so get over to Scrappin’ Attack and sign up for the “Original Cricut Classes” . The series of 3 classes will take you from a novice to an expert on your machine – learn all the things you can cut from vellum to chipboard to fabric all in this class. Don’t settle for a “demo” only or classes with no structure or curriculum that don’t develop your skills and knowledge. Take the classes that teach you all aspects of the machine and it is all “hands on” so you are using your machine to “do it yourself”. ‘THE ORGINIAL CRICUT CLASS”. Check our calendar for the schedule of classes for January and call today to sign up for this class. Scrappin’ Attack supplies all the paper and material that you cut (you supply machine, mat and cartridges) at each class. The value of the class far exceeds the fee charged for the class. Class fee is $50.00 starting January 2010 if you register for a January class or if you purchase a Cricut Class Gift Certificate –redeemable anytime before December 31,2009 the fee is $45.00. HO HO HO!!! Christmas is right around the corner and so is Scrappin’ Attack !!!! So come in and see all the We previously published that the store would be closed for a Family Event this week end – the weather has changed those plans so the store will be opened regular hours this week end !! Here are two options for you to get those project done: Daily Scrappin’ Attack Crops are daily from 10:30am-6pm at $1.00 per hour. Fee will be waived if $15.00 in pretax merchandise is purchased during your crop time. Please call to insure there is space available. Scrappin’ Attack Crop hours are 6:00 pm to Midnight - Friday and Saturday Nights – for December here are the dates: Friday December 11th 6:00 – 12:00 Saturday December 12th 6:00-12:00 Friday December 18th 6:00-12:00 Saturday December 19th 6:00-12:00 (Christmas Crop- specialty desserts will be served !) There are class kits available – that allow you to have a picture ready project quickly. Class samples are throughout the store so just ask if a kit is available for purchase we will be glad to check. Also set a time to come in and work on the class kit with the sample in front of you to assist you !! Hope everyone had a restful Labor Day week-end and ready to get the kids off to school – regardless of age it is nice to see them back into the routine of school daze!! Happy Spring !!! Haachoo !!! Gesundheit!! Spring is here and we can see it blowing in the wind !! Allergies abound.. a small price to pay to live in this incredible climate. Spring has sprung in the store… We have flowers galore on paper, sticker, ribbon – flowers with “bling” flowers you can “glimmer mist”. We have ladybugs and ants marching through on stamps, paper and stickers.. butterflies and dragonflies are buzzing about as well. Webster Page’s new line has amazing papers so vivid you could just pick the berries right off the paper…. Come in and get an incredible “Taste of Spring”. WOW!! We have had a great response to this month’s classes – the Creating with Cricut basic class sold out, as has the intermediate class. There are still some seats left for the advance class working with chipboard –vinyl and pens so call the store to sign up. This series of classes will be offered again so watch our weekly e-mails for dates and times. This week at Scrappin Attack we have two classes being offered Wednesday- March 11th, is the “Be Dazzled” class with Stacie – an opportunity to learn to use the stickers that enhance and add great dimension to cards and page layouts. Get that “embossed” look without all the work.. $15.00 Thursday March 12th begins the Scrapbook 101 series of three classes– for those who are new to scrapbooking and want to learn the techniques and tricks to take ALL those photos from boxes to well documented albums.$25.00 for all three classes Remaining classes for March are: Happy Scrappy St. Patty’s Day This begins our monthly mini album class. You will create a Mini acrylic album acknowledging St. Patrick’s Day. Stamping and rub-ons will be used to add flair to a “green colored “book. You will also have the chance to use the “CHOMP IT” and “BIND IT ALL” machines. The 1 hour class is offered 3 different times during the day with a maximum class size of 5 per class. Hello March…. We are moving quickly into Spring and the store is also reflecting the change of season. St. Patrick’s Day paper and embellishments are highlighted along with the new Daisy Bucket lines of colorful Spring paper. And very cute Easter paper will make great cards and layout for the Easter Season. We want to take a quick minute and review the classes for March as they are quickly selling out… Creating with Cricut for tomorrow is sold out and Cricut class #2 (intermediate level) has only 4 spaces remaining,, Please call the store to reserve your seat if you want to develop your skills on this wonderful tool. “Irish you Happiness” is a mini acrylic album class that introduces you to working with acrylic albums. You will emboss it, stamp it, chomp it and bind it…all in one class. Be Dazzled and the Glimmer Mist photo folio samples are in the store – stop in to take a look and sign up for these classes. With Be Dazzled you will find a new technique to have the “embossed” look on your cards and pages without a lot of work. Learn to use or enhance your knowledge of the Glimmer Mist sprays to add amazing color and depth to your paper crafting. HAPPY FAT Tuesday and Mardi GRAS!! A BIG THANK YOU, to the all of you who have told friends and family about our store. The past few days we’ve heard from many of our new customers that a friend let them know about the store, and it’s worth a visit. Your “word of mouth” is the BEST form of advertising for us, and we appreciate it. The calendar for March has been posted on the website. Below are the class descriptions for March. Here at Scrapping Attack we are incorporating some fun elements to our Crop Nights. We will test the interest and adjust accordingly and if you have any ideas for a “theme crop” let us know dates and theme are listed following the class descriptions: Creating with the Cricut “Wondering what fun things to make using your new Circut machine?” The possibilities are endless…… BUT first learn the basics and begin developing your skills. Let us show you how. Join us for any of the “stand alone” Circut classes – Beginners- Intermediate - Advanced. We will create projects at each level to enhance your paper crafting skills. Each month we will focus on a different cartridge type. You can bring your own Circut machine, all student MUST provide your own Cricut Mat to cut on. Mats may be purchased in the store. Each Class is limited to 5. Instructor: Eva Smith March 4th, 2009 Wednesday 10:30am to 12:00pm Wednesday 6:30pm to 8:00pm Fee $10.00 per class “Be Dazzled” Do you like the “embossed look” on your cards and scrapbook pages??? This class will show you an easier way to accomplish that look using “Be Dazzled” Stickers. A 2 page layout and a card will all be made during class. This class will simplify your project while retaining that “WOW” effect. Instructor: Stacie Riley Wednesday March 11, 2009 6:30 to 9:00pm Fee: $15.00 Scrapbook 101 This is the perfect class for those of you who have been wondering how to get started. Instructions will include tips on how to create a photo safe environment, organize your photos, use of tools, album selection and to figure out how to begin. This is 3-week class – designed to take you from the basic to completing a small 8x8 album in the 3 weeks. Will allow young teens into the class 13 and over. Instructor: Eva Smith March 12th – 19th 26th, 2009 Wednesday’s 6:30 to 8:30 Fee $10.00 per class individually or $25.00 for the 3 class paid @ registration Happy Scrappy St. Paddy’s Day This begins our monthly mini album class. You will create a Mini acrylic album acknowledging St. Patrick’s Day. Stamping and rub-ons will be used to add flair to a “green colored “book. You will also have the chance to use the “CHOMP IT” and “BIND IT ALL” machines. The 1 hour class is offered 3 different times during the day with a maximum class size of 5 per class. Instructor: Eva Smith Tuesday – March 17th 11:00am – 12:00pm 2:00pm – 3:00pm 6:00pm – 7:00pm Fee: $7.00 Glimmer Mist Photo Folio Create a beautiful photo folio that will be part of your home photo décor. The folio will hold a 5x7 and several 4x6 and other size photos as well. In this class you will create a folio using Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and Glimmer Screens. If you have not altered your paper crafts using Glimmer Mist this is the class for you to become familiar with the amazing effect and impact of this water based spray.
